Responsible to support Planning and Procurement daily operations through systems updates and generating reports that can affect decision-making. Responsible for documentation applicable to this area. Keep metrics and indicators updated and other assignments.
**Key responsibilities:**
+ Perform the Planning and Procurement daily/weekly activities, such as review and analyze MRO, inventories variances, priorities for Receiving and Incoming areas, among others as request.
+ Creates Purchase Orders and request supplier’s confirmation, makes agreement to guarantee ship date meets plant’s needs and follow up until arrival.
+ Responsible for optimizing inventories, minimizing excess and obsolete through the periodic review of the data and seeking solutions with the departments of Purchasing, Manufacturing and Quality.
+ Meets on time all the assigned training, participates in audits process for the area, ensuring full compliance with all local, corporate and regulatory procedures.
**Education & Experience:**
+ BS in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International Business or similar degree preferred
+ APIC CIPM certification is Preferable
+ 2 - 5 years related experience
+ Knowledge of local country Customs and Free Zone Laws/regulation.
