- Curriculum: Preschool teachers play an important role in developing children's interest in learning. Through various techniques and activities, such as games, group play, artwork and music, preschool teachers instruct in reading, writing and basic math concepts. Preschool teachers also encourage creativity and social interaction. While drafting thecurriculum for preschoolers, we keep in mind the broad framework set, and the physical and intellectual development of 4 – 5year olds whose first language is spanish. From reading and art to math and science, preschoolers learn something about everything.Children in preschool benefit from activities that develop vocabulary, comprehension skills, phonological awareness (sensitivity to the sounds of language), alphabet knowledge (knowledge about letter names and letter sounds), and print concepts, etc.
When it comes to thereading curriculum, preschoolers learn, understand and use a wide variety of new words. They learn to read and write and can identify sounds. Themath curriculumfor preschool includes teaching the little ones to count, measure, identify and create patterns, use number and word symbols, and more. Probably the most fun of all subjects is the art and craft curriculum for preschoolers. Children get a hang of expressing themselves through art, and drawing and coloring activities strengthen their motor development. We provide the grade-level standards and programs, but you will have the freedom and flexibility to use the materials to teach in the way you see fit. Curriculum/Classroom prep is done with a full-time bilingual assistant.
