The ideal candidate will be a supply chainSME(subject matter expert) with strongproject managementskills andexcellent collaboration skills.Project analyst will work in the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence organization forMaterials Planningandbe responsible forproviding analysis, leadership and support working in the development and execution of continuous improvement and long-term strategies that willoptimize Medtronic's innovation, growth, and profitability goals.The project analyst will support the end-to-end supply chain through the innovation, design, implementation, continuous improvement, maintenance, and support of Supply Chain Systems. This position will work to build communities of users, develop, deploy, and driveadoption of standard processes as a "global design."They will work closely with core process teams (IT), business groups, and commercial teams (regions) to understand requirements and solutions andprovide governance. The position is a project manager / analyst role; itprovides the opportunity to work across regional, functional, and commercial franchise boundaries. This position requires innovative thinking, consulting skills and collaboration. Applies mastery of in-depth knowledge in one area or broaderexpertise in many areas of the supply chain function. Considered an internal expert within an area.Key Responsibilities:·Identifyimprovement opportunities for current systems, materials planning, and reporting methods.·Support or lead corporate projects / initiatives- develop the approach, communicate plans and tasks to operational, divisional, and global participants, manage projects / initiatives to timeline, and successfully achieve projects' / initiatives' goals.·Communicate relationships and constraints between people, processes, business requirements and systems·Work independently on development and execution of plans·Lead or co-lead business requirements gathering and design sessions for new platforms, applications, and enhancements·Prepare / Review Detailed Requirements Documents and use cases·Evaluate causes as well as effects of business problems, analyze options, and propose solutions·Collaborate with varied business or system analysts, project team and business performing through project and organizational needs·Supplyexpertise on subject matter on supply chain processes and applications.·Develop process and training documents·Understand and stay current in trends in the solution space to ensure solutions meet long-term objectives·Lead/Coordinate testing and implementation of key system enhancements·Lead/Coordinate efforts of project estimation for review with cross organization technical as well as business teamsMust Have: Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Computer/ Information Systems, or similarMinimum of 4 years of experience in Procurement or Materials Planning in an ERP system (for example: SAP, Blue Yonder) or minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with advanced degreeSkills/Competencies: Enterprise ERP, Advance Planning Solutions, quantitative aptitude, systems thinking, high proficiency with Microsoft Office, facilitation and elicitation skillsNice to HaveKnowledge in 2 or more of the following areas: demand planning, supply planning, distribution requirements planning, operation scheduling, and or planning master dataSAP, APO, Blue Yonder system implementation experience (core team or deployment team)APICS certifiedLean Sigma Green or Black Belt certifiedProject Management ProfessionalMaster's DegreeSkills/Competencies: SAP R/3 or ECC Experience, SAP APO or SCM, Project management, Agile developmentAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
