We are looking for a Senior Manager of Human Resources who will support the Customer Care business units that operate across various locations in the Dominican Republic. In this highly critical and visible role, you serve as an HR Business Partner to the Operations Leaders and are responsible to develop a strategic approach to human resources that create an engage workplace, reduce attrition and help achieve business objectives. This role reports to the Vice President International HR : based in the U.S. and is responsible for ensuring an aligning HR plans with global and regional priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

:Functions as a strategic business partner and advisor to senior Operations Leaders regarding key operational, organizational and management issues
:Establishes and implements a comprehensive Human Resources plan that effectively communicates and supports the companies mission, vision and company culture
:Provides overall Leadership and Guidance to local HR function by overseeing HR functions including employee onboarding, orientation, development, employee and labor relations, benefits administration, policies and procedures
:Creates and administers policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and aligned with corporate strategies and objectives
:Work with functional HR Heads in the U.S. to develop appropriate human resource policies and standards to ensure effective, fair and equitable management of employees throughout the organization
:Directly contribute to efforts that build HR functional excellence (people, systems, programs) and drive continuous process improvements to deliver efficient and effective HR services to employees, managers and corporate HR
:Ensure the timely and effective processing and updating of employee data and documents including employment contracts, leave records, payroll updates, HRIS system updates and policies and procedures
:Lead and Execute HR policies and practices that are aligned with global HR initiatives to build a successful and high performance culture
:Partner with Senior Leaders to provide full range of HR support from a strategic and operational perspective focusing on employee engagement, retention and development.
:Fully understand the business initiatives and actively contribute to leading managers toward the achievement of business goals
QUALIFICATIONS:

:5+ years of business experience (international business preferred) in a similar Senior Manager role within a BPO industry
:College degree in related HR or Employee Relations field required or equivalent work experience
:Must possess strong leadership skills and show ability to unite and motivate a team, delegate tasks, communicate expectations and take corrective actions when needed
:Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment laws including prior experience in working with Unionized workers
:Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
:Proven ability to be a collaborative and active member of a team across different functional groups and geographical areas to support the business
:English proficiency is essential
:Experience in operating with autonomy and accountability and in conjunction with corporate HR global initiatives and practices
:Quick thinking and comfortable in a creative setting and a fast:paced environment where each day brings new challenges and rewards.
:A self:starter; happy to pitch into the day:to:day necessary tasks and priorities long:term projects
:Excellent work ethic and grounding of discretion and confidentiality
