Finance professionals play a critical role in supporting the demands of multiple constituents, including AIG executives, regulators, and stakeholders, while staying at the forefront of accounting and reporting requirements and compliance strategies. The Finance team includes Treasury and Capital Markets; Actuarial and Value Management; Finance Operations; and the Enterprise Finance Transformation program.

Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly Statutory Financial Statements;
- Review GAAP and IFRS financial statements;
- Coordinate with the Finance Center team members to complete deliverables within required time lines;
- Provide supporting documentation to the Company's independent auditors.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP reporting guidelines set by GAAP standards and AIG;
- Interact with various areas within the organization to ensure timely and accurate reporting and disclosures.
- Complete projects as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- B.B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- CPA and/or public accounting experience are a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience. Previous experience within Insurance and/or Financial Services industry is highly desired.
- Possess analytical and practical problem solving skills with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Maintain a positive attitude with the ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate and interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Ability to multi task with a variety of systems and processes.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
