Position Summary: Are you seeking a rewarding career with opportunities for advancement? We are currently hiring for 2 openings in this role, which involves supporting our customers by ensuring that new and existing policy and contract administrative communications are complete and accurate. You'll collaborate with our customer service professionals, contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork, and strive to meet Securian Financial's quality standards. Hours: Flexible, 8-hour daily work schedule ranging from 7:00am to 4:45pm, Monday - Friday. Occasional overtime may be required. Location: This opportunity would require on-site work in our downtown Saint Paul offices 5 days a week (Monday - Friday). Responsibilities include but not limited to: Completes administrative tasks that support accurate customer and financial advisor communications including outgoing contractual, incoming return correspondence and address management. Contributes to an atmosphere of teamwork and open communication with the team. Establishes personal goals to achieve independent proficiency in daily task and strives for ongoing skill development to prepare for future opportunities. Ensures daily service levels are met and are in compliance with Company policies and procedures including Rule 38a-1 and privacy requirements. Participate in and supports additional cross-training, as needed upon successful completion of primary training program. Contributes to managing daily goals and continuous process improvement ideation and follow through by openly questioning and sharing ideas to achieve process efficiency improvements and reduce expenses. Qualifications: Ability to multi-task, work efficiently, and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service mindset, 'One team' mindset, active listening skills, ability to empathize with internal partners, and professional etiquette. Self-motivation, punctuality, and dependability. Reliability, and ability to maintain customer confidentiality. General computer proficiency, ability to navigate multiple systems as needed. Knowledge retention and ability to leverage training, resources, peers, and business partners to problem-solve customer issues. General verbal and written communication skills to collaborate within the team. Strong willingness to learn and continue to grow with the company. Preferred Qualifications: Previous Securian experience. Experience with Individual Life and Annuity products. Understanding of individual insurance products and work processes and procedures related to all areas within Individual Life and Annuity Services. General knowledge of process workflows in Corporate Mail, Document Capture Management and Data Center Operations. #LI-on-site **This position will be on-site 5 days a week.**
Physical job requirements: Ability to utilize the keyboard, computer and/or mouse for up to 8 hours per day. Ability to work at least 40 hours per week. Ability to utilize the phone and/or virtual meeting platform for 1-4 hours per day. The estimated base pay range for this job is:
$15.39 - $27.16 Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
