Eaton’sPower Components Division is currently seeking a Senior Engineer Manufacturing tojoin our team.This position is based at our Haina facility.
The Senior Engineer Manufacturing design andimplement processes that can achieve the levels of required quality, customerservice and manufacturing, providing technical support to maintain and improvethe efficiency and productivity levels desired by the implementation of theEaton Business System Tools.
1. Provideresources and continuous improvements to manufacturing processes.
2. Correctand prevent manufacturing problems related to the process and productivity.
3. Followup, improve and monitor metrics or capacity measures, such as Yield, Scrap,
Productivity,Efficiency.
4. Monitorand control flow of production processes through the development and
implementationof the EBS tools.
5. Determinethe man-load for the manufacturing lines and provide the equipment, machine
and toolsrequired on demand.
6. Designthe manufacturing systems Lay-Out.
7. Developand implement programs to reduce costs and increase efficiency of productivity.
8. Analyzecustomer complains and develop corrective action plan.
9. Monitorand implement quality standards based on EQS to ensure the certification of
standard.
10.Analizeand evaluate capital cost metrics: Scrap, rework, etc.
11.Providetraining and coordination to the engineering assistants/co-op assigned to the
manufacturinglines.
12.Designmanufacturing instruction and develop new process in order to provide work
procedureand support the goals achievement.
Qualifications
Required(Basic) Qualifications
- Bachelordegree of Industrial, Electromechanical or Electrical Engineer or similarcareers.
- Minimumexperience of 1 years in similar positions
Full Bilingual (English /Spanish)
- PCknowledge: Auto Cad, Access, Minitab and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge ofDesign Interpretation
- Knowledge ofSPC (Statistical Process Control), Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and ISO9001
- Knowledge ofproject management and problem solving techniques
