Johnson & Johnson Consumer is recruiting a Lead Financial Analyst to be located in Dominican Republic.
The Lead Financial Analyst is the role supporting the Haina Manufacturing site. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide financial guidance to the management team as it delivers both short and long term strategic financial goals.
The individual will support the Leadership team in identifying, evaluating and selecting key initiatives to achieve overall goals. Will also be responsible for proactively identifying associated risks and mitigation plans in partnership with management. This individual will also provide financial analysis and present Site financial data for both actuals and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage as Site finance business partner for manufacturing facility. Provide decision support to partners by developing thorough financial analysis while cultivating both internal and external partnerships.
- Lead the development of the Plant long range financial plan in partnership with various groups by translating insights into cost effective, value adding solutions while creating roadmap to achieve long term financial goals
- Ensure monthly financial closing process is completed in accordance with local/corporate requirements and reflect accurate financial position.
- Prepare reports on the actual results of current expenditures relating to the budget, and the explanations for the variations. Monitoring financial metrics including the cost per unit in relation to the budget.
- Site support for the annual budget and forecast updates including standards setting.
- Finance lead for the physical inventory of raw materials, in-process materials and finished product.
- Actively participates in meetings of the corporation, and keep senior management informed on the current financial position and risks of the company.
- Ensure quality and compliance in all actions fulfilling all regulatory requirements on a timely basis.
- Create environment where leadership and talent development are top priority. Lead and adapt to change in future organizational model.Support both internaland external audits, provide support during audits to comply with Corporateaccounting standards, and company policies, proceduresandrules, as well as with those of local regulatory agencies and ensure complianceof such.
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required preferably a major in Accounting or Finance
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance/accounting related field
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- The candidate must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong presentation skills
- Ability to influence others in a matrix organization
- Work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred:
- Business experience in at least one of the following areas: Cost Accounting, Finance, Supporting manufacturing environment
- MBA and/or CPA, CMA preferred
Other:
Spanish and English Language proficiency required
