Location: Charlie’s Foundation, Cabarete, Dominican Republic

Description:
The position involves teaching fun and interactive ESL lessons to students between the ages of 5 and 14 from La Ciénaga de Cabarete. You will work closely with the head teacher to ensure you are following and constantly improving the curriculum, and report to the on-site foundation director. Above all, we are looking for someone to engage and inspire our students to ultimately improve their future career prospects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Planning and submitting lessons plan
Working with assistant English teacher to coordinate lessons
Teaching English to classes of 10-15 children between the ages of 5-14
Monitoring children in any special activities taking place at the foundation
Providing feedback on curriculum and working to constantly improve it
Qualifications:
Teaching English as a Second Language Certificate (completed or in progress) (e.g. TEFL) or Bachelor of Education in ESL
Required Experience & Abilities:
Teaching children
Speak and write English fluently
Speak Spanish at an intermediate level
