Job Description: Country Manager
QSI is an Orlando, Florida USA-based company that has been providing ISO 9001 related certification and training services for the past 25 years.
We are seeking Country Managers to help us expand our services in the following regions: Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, Latin America and North America
The Country Manager would be QSI’s representative in in the assigned Country and would report directly to a Regional Vice President. Success in the position requires entrepreneurial, experience and drive, as well as discipline to handle an aggressive expansion/business development plan.
The ideal candidate for the position of Country Manager must have a background regarding ISO certification, training and related software implementation projects.
Specific duties:
Direct a local team of sales executives, agents, technical personnel and administrative staff to secure new business and effectively deliver services in the assigned Country.
Implement the company’s business development plans and achieve the sales targets in the assigned Country.
Build strong relationships with clients, universities, industry associations, affiliates and local business partners/agents.
Overseeing project proposals, conducting contract negotiations, and local service operations related to ISO certifications, training and software implementation projects.
Oversee the financial management of the company in the assigned Country
Ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations and accreditation requirements and act as legal representative of the company in the assigned Country.
Work closely with the Regional Vice Presidents to expand business operations and providing reports on daily activities.
Implementing marketing campaigns in the local country.
Overseeing the preparing of presentations and training booklets in support of training and certification services to be provided.
Qualification
Qualifications for Country Manager are preferably:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration
At least five years management experience and three to four years of experience in similar activities.
Understanding of the ISO certification process, the delivery of trainings and software implementation projects.
Understanding of the local political/business environment as it pertains to QSI’s service lines.
A culturally open-minded disposition, adaptability, integrity, the ability to build relationships and effective communication skills.
The candidate must also have:
Strong Leadership qualities/abilities.
Commercial focus with interest in sales and knowledge of online marketing techniques
Professionalism, analytical and good communication skills
Native or advanced English and local language skills
Enthusiastic, proactive and motivated team player who always aims for maximum result
Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Entrepreneurial experience is a plus.
Compensation
10% of direct sales on new contracts
5% override comission from sales made by other channels (agents, sales executives, business partners)
20% of net earnings from the country
There is no guaranteed base salary
Estimated compensation ranges from US$2,000 to US$10,000 per month, depending on the Country.
