We are looking for a Bilingual Recruiter (English/Spanish) based in Santo Domingo to help grow our team in the Dominican Republic. Top applicants will be experienced in attracting, interviewing, and selecting talent. Recruiting agency experience a plus. Specifically, this role will be responsible for building a robust pipeline of qualified applicants to keep up with our growing staffing demand.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
• Keep track of recruiting metrics
• Review recruitment tools and suggest the best option for company needs
• Research and choose job advertising options
• Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
• Recommend ways to improve our employer brand
• Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
• Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations
• Participate in job fairs and career events
Requirements and skills
• Proven work experience as a Recruiter, Recruitment Consultant or Recruiting Coordinator. 2+ years preferred
• 2+ Years experience with a Staffing Agency a plus
• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
• Experience with (phone, zoom and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
• Familiarity with social media and other professional networks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish
• Strong decision-making skills
